From April 22nd to 25th, students, researchers, and educators gathered for our free four-day workshop, Digital Humanities for Beginners. It was designed for those in the humanities and social sciences to provide an engaging introduction to the ways technology can enhance humanities research.

Exploring Digital Tools for the Humanities

Over four days, participants gained hands-on experience with a range of digital techniques. From mapping historical events to analyzing textual data and creating visualizations, attendees explored how computational tools can provide fresh insights into their fields of study. Sessions also covered essential project management strategies, ensuring that participants not only learned new skills but also how to organize and sustain digital projects effectively.

Building Skills and Credentials

One of the highlights of the workshop was its practical impact on participants’ academic and professional journeys. The skills acquired were not just theoretical but also applicable to real-world research and teaching.

Missed this session? Stay tuned for future workshops and resources to continue your journey into the digital humanities!
