We are pleased to announce that Kirandeep rocked her defence today. Her work, Gurmukhi Punjabi as a Low-Resource Language through the Lens of the BLARK Model, was praised by the members of the committee. Kirandeep shows the usefulness of the BLARK Model in assessing language resources to plan strategies for their development by making evident the weaker areas. Her work can impulse resource development for Gurmukhi Punjabi but it can also be used as a paradigm for language resource assessment.
